uhhhhh it’s been awhile

mmm to sum up what went on during summer….I went to Korea…it was tiring and fun at the same time awesomeness

I’ve been back at school for a month are so. So exhausting. too many things swirling in my head. DO THIS, DO THAT kind of thoughts. >o< Sighhhhhhh I wish I knew what I needed to do. D;

okay, so yesterday, my mom, sister and I went up to santa clara for my sister’s MTAC convention. ……it took us 7 hours to get there….7!!!!!! that’s too long of a drive. I thought my back was going to break!

When we arrived there it was night time so we got ready to go to bed and sleep. I got the air mattress! cool beans, but my back hurt and I caught the cold after sleeping there. >.> LAME Well, my sister’s rehearsal was better than her actual performance….meh. Oh, the master class that we went to after was 2 hours long…tooo long! I didn’t even eat breakfast! I was pretty grouchy afterwards. Then we went down for about 6 hours, eat yummy korean food and then went back home….pretty uneventful though we drove sooooooo far to get to a single, retarded event! >.>

oh! btw, don’t eat at yoyo sushi at Santa Clara. The food is bad. There’s this chemical taste to it and something doesn’t taste/smell right about the food. Just a warning peeps.

today was my dad’s bday so we cleaned the house…yup…that’s what he wanted…a clean house – -;;
He’s old, what can I say. So we slaved the morning away by cleaning the first floor. Soon, my dad and my sis had to DITCH me for her cello something and I was left to do the remaining rooms on the first floor AND clean the second floor…..It’s so hot and disgusting. By the time I finished it was 2:30 and I was sweating…GROSS
Around 8 we left to eat yummy sushi and sashimi. Oh, and that delicious green tea icecream that only tastes good at sushi restaurants. yup yup. Those are soooooo good. Then we went off to watch transformers 2 which was BEAST!! Totally awesome!!!!!! Less romance stuff than the first which is better….who knows, I was so preoccupied with going to the bathroom….so maybe I wasn’t paying much attention during those moments. Yeah. After the first 10 minutes into the movie…I had to go, but for the AWESOME movie, I held it till the end…Gawd…I thought I was going to DIE! D: The CG, btw, was mind-blowing…..If I wasn’t on the track I was on now, I’d soooo be a CG-ist….sighhhh
OH OH OH OH OH!!!!! There’s going to be a future Avatar: the last airbender movie in 2012…or 2011….BUT THAT’S SOOOOOOO COOL!!!!!! I’m totally psyched for it….though the kid doesn’t look really asian….but we’ll see. I just REALLY want to see the live action movie! Hopefully, I won’t be disappointing. :/ I’ll be sad if it was. D:

So, on the 24th I want to the Milal summer camp at UCR….that place is sooo ghetto…very very ghetto….I forgot which dorm we went to stay at, but once I know, I’ll post it up. We all stayed at the aberdeen-inverness residence So I got to pair up with this girl names Schulamie. She was super nice! XD She and I took care of Harim who was a total sweet heart! She was a lot easier than some of the other kids like Joseph…..He was 18 and he looked like a 12 year old. :/ I mean, joseph was nice, but he was such a handful! I really felt bad for Albert who had to take care of him. Derrick, who was taking care of Abraham, had to help him out. I heard that Albert got no sleep….poor boy. LoL The first day was kind of okay. Schulamie and I got to talk until midnight….SOOOOO tired, but so worth it! She’s a tenth grader. LoL She was so sweet and talkative. It was fun to listen to her rambles! I got to ramble too! The second day was more tiring because we had to go out and swim with them, make sure they don’t fall as they are taking a garden tour and beat on korean drums. By the time I had to leave, I was pooped! Luckily, I didn’t go to Knotts on the next day….I probably would have gotten sick! D:
Instead of going to knotts, I had to go and renew my passport….I woke up at 6 and went back home around 11…….gawsh…i hate traffic. Because I went in the morning, it wasn’t as bad as it could have been. I’m scared when I have to pick it up because I’m suppose to pick it up around the afternoon!!! uh-oh…traffic mania! D:
Well, Imma go and visit my cousin later today! yay! Get to see my baby cousins as well! They are soooooo cute!! >3<

well, the day before yesterday, my friends, kelly, ashley, leslie, tina, and miho, and I went out to have some fun! We went to karaoke at the dongbu noraebang for 3 hours >.> ( apparently the new J&J noraebang isn’t that great :/ ) After that, kelly and tina had to go. :C That was sad, cuz I won’t be seeing them in a while D:

The rest of us went to UCC cafe. Love that place. They have the best desserts and the coolest looking containers for the tea! XD It’s fun to watch them serve it. Oh! and they have this little button thing that can call the waiters to ur table…..awesomeeee. The creme brulee cheesecake is AMAZINGGGGGGGGGGG!!!! ~<3 I love cheesecake and the way they made it was super good. You guys should try it!! The other desserts are good too

okay, so today was the second orientation for mira…..it was terrible. I thought I was going to die from embarrassment

- -;; I really don’t know ppl there…gawd…i felt like an idiot! We had to dance to some songs and they were teaching us the moves…sometimes i just think religion is a whole bunch of brainwashing. Not saying I don’t believe, but the way they teach it to us….oh gawd *shiver* I’m going to hate this volunteer thing. I have to take care of a girl who has autism or something for two days….i’m scared…REALLY SCARED! and kind of pissed that I have to do this. sighhhhhhhh…..Not like I don’t wanna help, but the day I leave korea with emi is realllly close and I still haven’t finished all the preparations before going. sigh.

The only good thing that happened there was when I met this guy names Fran. He’s so cute He’s part korean, chinese, and hawaiian….whatever that means lol. But he was nice. He happened to be placed in the group I was in. He has this really laid back vibe and talks kind of slow. His family pretty much attended USC so he wants to go too. He’s an 11th grader. cute lol It was so funny to see him disappointed when he knew he was going to be late to his date….yes he has a gf. – - did you think I wanted to date him >.> weirdos

hopefully, this volunteer won’t be too bad….i don’t know…..gawd…I hate not knowing the ppl Imma going with >:C

okay…so for the first time, i drove to la…..and there was NO parental supervision. It was just me and my friend, Heidi. ….omg….i thought I was going to hurt someone. There’s just SO MUCH TRAFFIC!!! If you weren’t an aggressive driver, it’s nearly impossible to go anywhere!

Today, I was just supposed to hang out with heidi, but the register broke so I had to go to LA to get it fixed….MIRACULOUSLY, the register worked once the fixer person plugged it in….- -….I SAW it not work…that freakinn !#(*@$%(!*$)! Took me SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO long to get there!! >:CCCCCCCC GAWDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDd!!! …well at least I know I can drive…though it still makes me a bit nervous :/

oh and there’s a new noraebang in DB. Interestinggggggggggg. It’s clean and new and better than the dongbu noraebang You guys should check it out!

well, i went to db to go check out Shawn’s recital. All I can say is…WOW! I can’t even recognize him! I thought I was going to see a short, cute, crooked faced, little boy but damn…he’s taller than me! D: He’s in ninth grade..NINTH!!! Has the world ended? I knew him since he was in elementary school and when both of us had the same piano teacher…he was sooooooooooo cute before!! XD Dunno about now…lol he’s okay Well, I heard him play….he’s good, technical skills wise. I think the songs that most suit him are the one from the romantic period (his teacher’s specialty). His beethoven and bach were not great at all. – - wat was worse was the audience…My gawd….they were TERRIBLE! I wanted to give them a death ray glare…but sadly, I don’t have one. >:C They were so loud and noisy, even when shawn and the other kid (a chinese kid who plays AMAZINGL but plays boring songs >.>) were playing piano and some people had the NERVE to have the big flashy things attached to their stupid cameras and let it FLASH and make OBNOXIOUS noises at they took picture…..If only I could kick them to kingdom comes >.>++

volunteer in korea

HELL YEAH!!! it’s official!! Imma going to koreaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! XD I went on the vfp website to sign up for some volunteer work with my buddy emi…and i waited for five AGONIZING days! D: sigh…..my life will soon be complete…maybe…..D: who knows!! I’m just completely psyched about this…..majorly!!! Never really been out of the country without my family…it’ll be AWESOME!!

We’ll be going the jeong-nam province…hope i spelled that right…and hopefully google is right that it’s near the ocean down south…because if not….urgh….i don’t want to be near the dmz line! D:
So emi and I will be helping some festival making around there and it’ll be mind blowing! yay! …now we have to think about wat we’ll do before or after the volunteer program! XD
